Jessie is available for adoption. She came to us on 28th July 2017. She is a Huntaway cross breed. 30kgs. Born on 5th January 2015. She is vaccinated and spayed.
Jessie was adopted from us when she was a puppy from the litter of 5 that were rescued from drowning (originally known as Skylar). You might have seen them on the TV show pound pups to dog stars. Sadly her owner can no longer care for her anymore now she is looking for a forever home.
Jessie is an absolutely affectionate, happy, lovely girl. She loves going to the dog park and going swimming at the beach. She is excellent with other dogs, submissive nature. And loves playing fetch. She is food driven, knows her basic commands, easy to train, fully toilet trained.
Almost never barks. Inside dog, used to sleeping on the bed. Used to being home alone for up to 3hrs. She will be suitable in a quiet home, used to lifestyle block. Would be a great companion for another dog. I have to stress that she absolutely shows no aggression but she is scared of kids and moving cars and just doesn’t want to be near them.
In a quiet home with another dog for company she will be perfect.
She can be timid at times so not suitable with young children and not good with cats, birds, rabbits.

If you believe you can offer Jessie a home and you can provide a fully fenced section, daytime company, and plenty of walks please ring and make an appointment to view on (09) 415 9275 or e-mail.
Auckland Area Only Please !
A donation to the Dog Protection Society will be payable on approval of Jessie’s new home.
